MotoGP 19 is a high-stakes racing game that's officially licensed from the Grand Prix motorcycle racing series, which means it includes a number of authentic race tracks and allows players to compete for simulations of the real life championships. As you might expect, the game also includes a series of real motorcycles that were entered into the actual Grand Prix along with their teams.

Not all of the game's features are geared toward those who are fans of motorsports, however. Casual fans will love the fact that the game's AI opponent has been completely revamped, which makes the game a great deal more challenging on the higher difficulty levels.

It used to be that players could trick the AI engine into doing something silly, and they would then be able to dominate the entire track for the remainder of the race. The new opponent would realize exactly what's going on and pull out of turns so it could motor into the curve and pass you if you tried anything like this.

At the same time, you could play against real people if you prefer. The included multiplayer mode allows you to race against other players all over the world. In many cases, these players are top notch and wait in the Public Lobby while they customize rules and weather conditions. Those who like a more controlled racing experience can enter into a Private Lobby and find others who want to really push the game to its limits.

Users are also free to create their own Private Lobby that's restricted only to their friends, which allows real-world buddies to play online together. Regardless of which location you prefer, the multiplayer option should work without any further configuration.

Those who want to take on more of a managerial role can enter into the special Race Director mode, which gives players the freedom to completely design custom races and judge them. They can pick out a track's starting grid and give out penalties to anyone that they see as violating the rules. Creative fans might also want to try out the built-in graphics editing system, which gives you the ability to switch out different brands and accessories to design your own team branding.

Those who want to enjoy a more complete type of gameplay will certainly want to check out the career mode, which takes you from race to race over time so you can build up your team's winning record and show the world just what you're made of.
